A new GAO report complains that the Marines reduced or limited key tests on the V-22 Osprey in order to get it into production faster. In one case, testing of the transition between helicopter and airplane mode was cut 66% from the original plan. The Pentagon received the report, but declined the option to indicate if it agrees or disagrees.--Stephen V Cole
