Singapore Technologies Kinetics has developed a new 120mm advanced mortar system. This smoothbore weapon can reach 9 kilometer with standard ammunition or 13 kilometer with rocket-boosted shells. The weapon is designed for a high rate of fire (18 rounds per minute) with an autoloader and a special cooling system. The complete system weighs 1200kg.--Stephen V Cole
