The Pentagon is set to issue two waivers for the mandatory anthrax shots. One would apply to anyone with less than 180 days remaining before discharge, unless they are based in a high threat area such as South Korea. The other waiver would give a temporary suspension of the shots to anyone who suffered an adverse reaction to the shots, giving doctors time to determine what caused the reaction. --Stephen V Cole
