Ghana has reorganized its military to better respond to threats and emergencies. The Army is being split into a Northern Command and a Southern Command. The Air Force will have three total bases (Accra, Takoradi on the coast, and Tamale in the north). The Navy is already divided into Eastern and Western commands.--Stephen V Cole
