CAMP SNAKE PIT Ar Ramadi, Iraq � Corporal Scott B. Lyon, a rifleman with Mobile 1, 4th Platoon, Company C, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, holds a pigeon he and his Marines captured during a mission in the city here. The bird was in a vehicle with five Iraqi men. Corporal Lyon and his fellow warriors detained the men because of their suspicious activity and kept the bird as evidence. Insurgents have been known to use pigeons and doves to signal other insurgents to attack coalition forces.Photo by Cpl. Tom Sloan
