ARABIAN SEA (July 7, 2009) Military Sealift Command fast combat support ship USNS Rainier (T-AOE 7) underway in the Arabian Sea. Rainier provides fuel, food, ordnance, spare parts, mail and other supplies during replenishment at sea evolutions. The Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group is currently deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
