  Two NATO peacekeepers were wounded by a roadside bomb in northern Afghanistan. The use of roadside bombs is rare in Afghanistan, but an obvious attempt to emulate tactics developed in Iraq. There are far fewer targets (foreign troops) in Afghanistan, and a population much more hostile to those who plant such bombs.
