Four civilians were killed and nine injured in several attacks by Islamic fundamentalists. Nearly two hundred people have been killed by terrorists in August. Meanwhile, fighting continues within the fundamentalist organizations as hardliners terrorize less bloody minded members. The police found the body of a imam, and seven members of GSPC (Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat). The religious leader and six GSPC members had appealed to their leader to stop the terror. All were killed for their lack of fighting spirit.
