American Special Forces finished training a commando battalion in April, and these troops have been hunting down FARC rebels ever since. Much of the operations are around the capital, where FARC has been setting off bombs in the city, while trying to take control of roads and suburbs outside the city. But American Special Forces and other advisors have been working with Colombian staffs to plan operations that have frustrated FARC operations so far.
