Pakistani, Afghan and American troops along the border are cooperating. Via meetings and radio communications, the troops of the three nations plan and execute movements to trap Taliban and al Qaeda gunmen who move back and forth across the border. In the past, there was little or no direct communication between the infantry battalions operating along the border. That has changed, and more Taliban are being caught on both sides of the border.
