Mongolia said it will send 200 troops to Iraq to help with peacekeeping duties. The troop contingent will include engineer and medical personnel. This is definitely a new wrinkle in Mongol-Arab relations. Baghdad Arabs still talk about the Mongol invasions of the 13th century.
