Jordan is developing a new tank to be known as Falcon. It is a surplus Centurion tank hull (Jordan has 300 Centurions it is replacing with Challenger-1s) fitted with a new narrow-profile turret. The turret mounts the same Swiss compact 120mm smoothbore cannon used in the Jordanian upgrade of the M60 tank. The driver, commander, and gunner all sit below the level of the turret ring, and the gun is fed by an autoloader from a magazine in the bustle. Some Centurions will be converted into heavy armored personnel carriers.--Stephen V Cole
