: 10.0pt"> Israel has accused Britain of going along with an arms embargo against Israel. This embargo has been popular in Europe, where many people are pro-Palestinian. Last year, Britain rejected 77 of 205 export licenses for military equipment. The current flap is over spare parts for ejection seats used in Israel's 140 F-4 fighters. The bulk of Israel's air power comes from 350 more modern F-16s and F-15s.
