 North Korea finally revealed it's "bold" proposal and it's the same old extortion demands. In return for the US agreeing not to attack the North, and providing sufficient economic aid to keep the northern dictatorship going, North Korea would give up it's nuclear weapons. But inspections would not be allowed, thus allowing the north to continue with a secret nuclear weapons program. As long as the north did not test a weapon, they could get away with this. The north also told the south to stay out of these negotiations.
