Nigeria warned former Liberian president Charles Taylor that he must cease communicating with his followers in Liberia or lose the protection of the Nigerian government. Taylor has been using his cell phone daily to control henchmen (some of whom are still government officials) back in Liberia. Some of these cronies have visited Taylor in Nigeria. It is thought that Taylor will not be able to resist continuing to meddle in Liberian affairs, that the Nigerians will expel him and that Taylor will get arrested for war crimes.
