The MILF rebel leaders don't like to admit it, but their organization is splintering. First it was factions going off to be bandits. This has been going on for several years. The money was better in banditry. But at the same time, other factions began indulging in Islamic radicalism. For centuries, Filipino Moslems fought for autonomy, not religious radicalism. But making war on Christians has become more popular. Al Qaeda has shown the way, providing inspiration on how to use terror to kill, and frighten, Christians.
