The Russian Communist Party  lost control of parliament in recent elections. In another defeat, a recent opinion poll showed that 48 percent of the population want Lenin's body buried, 38 percent want it to remain on display in the capital, and 14 percent are undecided. In a related question, a majority of respondents agreed a national vote should decide this issue.
