The Army is looking for money to develop a new helicopter engine, the Common Engine Program. This 3,000hp engine would power the upgraded UH-60X Blackhawk (which, due to weight growth, desperately needs a more powerful and more fuel-efficient engine) and, perhaps, a future upgrade of the AH-64 Apache.--Stephen V Cole
