France, which has fifteen CN-235 air transports and two more on order, has ordered three more for delivery next year. The CN-235 is made by the Spanish (CASA) division of EADS. It is a two engine aircraft that can carry six tons of cargo and take off and land on short airfields. It has a normal range of about 4,000 kilometers. Think of it as C-130 lite.
