For reasons that are less than clear, the failure rate for F-15 pilot trainees has doubled since last year. During 1998, 91 pilots graduated the F-15 course and four flunked out. During the first half of 1999, ten had flunked out. For the whole year, 84 are expected to graduate.--Stephen V Cole
