Israelis firm IAI has agreed to equip German made Leopard tanks with the LAHAT anti-tank missile. The 30 pound LAHAT is fired through the 120mm gun barrel  on the tank. LAHAT has a range of 6,000 meters and has a tandem warhead, which enables it to get past ERA (explosive reactive armor.) In addition to Germany, Australia and several other European nations use Leopard tanks. Installing the LAHAT system will mean making modifications to the Leopards fire control system.
