Greece has purchased another Dutch Kortenaer-class frigate, the former HrMs Jan van Brakel. It will be delivered to the Greeks in November and serve as F646 HS Kanaris. Of the ten Kortenaers, six have been sold to Greece (which bought two new ones built for it), two have been sold to the United Arab Emirates, and two remain available for sale. Chile is reportedly interested.--Stephen V Cole
