The Canadian Navy's Pacific Fleet is under strength by 267 personnel. To solve some of this problem, the destroyer HMS Huron will be docked with a caretaker crew of 75, releasing its 200 other crewmen to fill gaps on other ships. The ship retains all of its weapons except for the Phalanx gun, which will be borrowed by another ship due to a shortage of working weapons.--Stephen V Cole
