Uzbekistan is denying that US transport and reconnaissance aircraft  have been landing at old Russian bases during the last ten days.  The old Soviet era Russian bases were not very good to begin with and have decayed further over the last ten years. These bases would require a lot of construction and repair before heavy duty operations by US warplanes could be flown from them. This is particularly true as the first snows have fallen in Central Asia and combat flying operations are a lot more difficult in the Winter.
