Two rebels and a policeman were killed in continuing violence in Aceh province. Two bodies were also found, and thought to be victims of the separatist violence. President Wahid says he has had nothing to do with the current reorganization of the army, and that it was all the idea of the generals. The army is apparently reorganizing itself before the government does it for them. The legislature wants to pass laws so that the army will not be able to have influence in how the government is run. In Irian Jaya, two thousand people attacked a police station. Warning shots were fired and only a few injuries resulted.
