Separatist activity in Aceh, the Malukus and Papua is still there, but the government has managed to diminish the movements with lots of police and troops, and some money and persuasion. The Islamic conservatives are also a form of separatism, as they want to establish an Islamic state. The government is pretty tolerant of the Islamic conservatives, allowing them to continue holding large demonstrations (especially if the target is the United States.)
