: 10.0pt"> Palestinians have gotten some support in Israeli courts to stop Israel from punishing families of suicide bombers. The court has temporarily blocked expulsion of family members to Gaza, but has not halted destruction of family homes. This program apparently is having some effect, with reports coming out of Palestinian areas of family's forcibly stopping members from engaging in suicide bombing missions. Such group punishments are quite ancient, but only really work when you have several generations of a family still living in the same house. This is still quite common in the Middle East. 

A roadside bomb went off, injuring a soldier. Israeli anti-terror operations have shut down many of the Islamic militant attacks. But it's a game of cat and mouse, with each side constantly changing their tactics.
