: As usual, Khartoum sends mixed signals. While telling Washington it wants to cooperate in the war on terror , the Sudanese government has another story for domestic consumption. The Sudanese government (Khartoum) said that its end of the civil war will continue to be a jihad (holy war). Heres the quote: "We will never sell out our faith and will never betray the oath to our martyrs."
